Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Perfect Pear and our communication via SMS and online services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Perfect Pear offers exterior cleaning services, including roof and gutter cleaning, paver sealing, and house washing.

2. SMS Communication & Consent

• By opting into SMS notifications, you agree to receive text messages related to:
  • Appointment scheduling and reminders.
  • Service updates and confirmations.
  • Post-service instructions and account notifications.
• Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
• To opt out, reply STOP. For assistance, text HELP.

3. Payment & Cancellation Policy

• Payments must be made in full upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
• Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

4. Liability & Warranty

• We guarantee quality service but are not responsible for pre-existing damage or unforeseen issues.
• Concerns after service must be reported within 48 hours for resolution.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.

Agreement

By hiring Perfect Pear, you agree to a legally binding contract for the work at an agreed-upon date and price. Additional charges may apply for extra work. If an appointment is canceled less than 72 hours in advance, any deposits will be forfeited. Estimated prices may change if additional work is added.

Service Warranties

Roof Soft Washing & Warranty: We follow industry-standard SoftWash processes and offer a limited warranty. If mold, mildew, or moss growth occurs within 12 months, we will retreat the affected areas at no charge. From years 2-5 or 10, retreatment is offered at 50% off the original quoted price. The warranty covers shingles, concrete/clay tile, asbestos, and composite surfaces with no pooling on the roof. Tree limbs and debris within 8 feet of the roof may void the warranty.

Gutter Cleaning: Includes debris removal to ensure proper water flow. Comes with a 90-day guarantee. Clogs due to improper installation, underground blockages, or trees within 8 feet of the gutter line are not covered.

House Washing: Includes a 1-year algae-free guarantee. Spot treatment is provided if algae reappears within the warranty period.

Screen Enclosure Cleaning: Uses SoftWashing methods and comes with a 1-year algae-free guarantee. We are not responsible for loose or torn screens.

Flat Work Cleaning: We utilize both pressure and soft washing. Includes a 6-month algae-free guarantee.

Paver Cleaning, Sanding & Sealing: Pavers remain clean for 6 months if unsealed and 12 months if sealed. Sand will be uneven and will not resemble grout.

Additional Terms

Water Usage: We use the on-site water supply to complete the project. Additional charges apply if an offsite water supply is needed.

Plant Damage: Some plant burning may occur. Plant death is rare, but we allow 90 days to determine plant health.

Courtesy: Customers must keep children, pets, vehicles, and individuals away from the work area during and for at least 24 hours after completion.

Payments: Payments are due at the time of service via check, cash, or credit/debit card. Late fees apply to unpaid balances. Customers are responsible for any collection costs.

Scheduling: Appointments must be scheduled by the customer. Rescheduling requires at least 2 days’ notice. Weather-related productivity changes are not our responsibility.

Removal & Replacement of Items: Customers must remove all furniture, grills, planters, and other items before service. If we remove items, we are not responsible for damage, breakage, or storage issues. A $75/hour charge applies for removal.

Damages: We are not responsible for damages caused by:

• Improperly installed siding, loose shingles, broken or opened windows.
• Unsealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction.
• Loose or improperly installed gutters, caulking issues.
• Paint fading, discoloration, or mortar dislodging during cleaning.
• Some stains, such as tree sap, artillery fungus, and paint splatters, may not be removable. We do not guarantee the removal of artillery fungus or oil stains.

Property Condition: We assume the property is in good repair and weather-tight, including electrical services, light fixtures, doors, and windows. We are not responsible for damage from water infiltration due to poor maintenance.

Window Cleaning: Not included unless specified. Hard water and calcium may cause water spotting. Does not include hard water spot or paint overspray removal.

Gutter Brightening: Standard soft washing does not include gutter brightening. Dirt, grime, and oxidation may remain.

Light Installation: We only install Perfect Pear’s professional-grade lights. Customers rent the lights from us; they remain our property.
